THE ROLE:
As a Product Development Engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups to bring-up and ramp new products which include developing and debugging manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors.

THE PERSON:

A successful candidate is one who can perform in a role that requires accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project’s success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bring up the system-level test program and its contents, progressing toward optimizations for mass production enablement
• Debug and solve problems related to product features, test conditions, and test contents in the system-level test program
• Identify the root-cause of part failures and propose solutions to improve test quality

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Use of programming languages e.g. Java and scripting languages e.g. Python, Shell
• Good understanding of Linux and Windows OS
• PC systems power-user or enthusiast
• SLT (System Level Test) test experience

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable disciplines
