AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE: You will be joining the Data Center GPU DevOps team to take our Automated testing to the next level for AMD’s Data Center GPU products. This engineer will develop new features, debug issues, and implement improvements in our CI/CD pipelines. THE PERSON: AMD is searching for a dynamic, motivated self-starter, who is passionate about DevOps, with a thirst for knowledge and a firm commitment to scheduling and solving problems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines. Help to identify and fix bugs and improve the reliability of our CI/CD Infrastructure. Development of new features with Agile and milestone driven product development model Communicate and collaborate with other teams to solve problems and optimize execution PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Good understanding of DevOps principles and practices Experience with Groovy, Python, Shell Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Good understanding about SCM tools like git/github and CI/CD tools like cloudbees, github actions Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana is a plus Proficiency with artifact management tools like JFrog Artifactory and Harbor. Working knowledge in both Windows and Linux environments including scripting languages (PERL, Python, Ruby) and programming (C/C++, Assembly). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and system administration Strong communication and collaboration skills Mentoring junior engineers to advance their development ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 6+ years of experience.
