AMD together we advance_ MTS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER   THE ROLE:  AMD is looking for a specialized software engineer who is passionate about developing the SW stack for the world first class semi-customized products. You will be a member of S3 SW Driver team and will work with the leading hardware and software technology.   THE PERSON:  The ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering and possess leadership skills to drive sophisticated issues to resolution. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD.    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Work with AMD’s architecture specialists to improve future products.   Be responsible for GFX Driver/FW feature design, implementation and issue debug. Be responsible for Power features design, implementation and issue debug. Scope and quick study new technologies Participate in the full-cycle development/verification work new ASIC designs. Debug/resolve issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work.  Develop and deepen technical relationships with peers and partners.  Apply a data minded approach to resolve Windows GFX driver problems.  Work closely with customers for feature implementation and issue resolving.   PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  Strong object-oriented programming background, C/C++ preferred.  Ability to write high quality code with a keen attention to detail.  Familiar with Windows WDK, WDF, POFX framework Expert of Windows and/or Linux/Android Driver Development Expert of software development processes, tools and profilers.  Expert of Windows/Linux GFX driver development Experience with Windows on ARM and power development/tuning is better.
