THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of advanced power solutions for server systems. This role requires deep technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define hardware requirements for power systems and develop power supply products for server platforms.
  • Design and implement system-level power distribution, test plans, procedures, and test fixtures.
  • Lead power solution development aligned with system schedules and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve power-related issues and manage project execution.
  • Conduct system-level power verification and validation.
  • Interface with vendors to finalize test plans, review test data, and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Analyze failures, propose solutions, and coordinate with ODMs, suppliers, and system teams.
  • Qualify and integrate hardware and firmware into host systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, marginal analysis and empirical testing on new and modified designs.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of server power development experience
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
  • Proficiency in power supply topologies (Familiar with three-phase Vienna PFC, Totem-pole PFC, multiple-phase FBPS, LLC, SR control is preferred), component selection, and system integration.
  • Experience co-working with Firmware team on digital power firmware design and debugging.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power meters, AC sources, electronic loads, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills in reviewing schematics, PCB layouts, and test reports.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related tools.
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and detail oriented.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • MS in Electronic Engineering (or relative engineering fields)
