  • Develop a working knowledge of new and existing capital equipment, including control architecture, hardware, and operating principles, to support maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Assist Project Engineering with equipment installation, checkout, start-up, and operator or maintenance training as required.

  • Promote and support electrical safety initiatives by applying industry standards and regulations, including National and State Electrical Codes and NFPA 70E (arc flash).

  • Serve as a key contributor to preventative maintenance activities for electrical substations and high-voltage switchgear, including inspections, testing, documentation, and follow-up actions.

  • Participate on cross-functional teams—including equipment project teams, safety teams, and continuous improvement teams—to drive improvements in safety, quality, service, and cost.

What We Value

  • Solid problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.

  • Foundational understanding of electrical power distribution, industrial control systems, and PLCs.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
