Systems Development Engineer, FinTech Infrastructure

- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Experience building services using AWS products
- Experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Amazon Finance Technology is looking for a Systems Development Engineer to help build systems and automate solutions. You will support critical finance business functions for customers around the world while meeting aggressive availability goals and ensuring robust system performance. You will discover innovative ways to automate and scale our infrastructure as we expand globally. As an Engineer in the team, you will take part in in the architecture, design, implementation and deployment of large-scale and complex software systems.
