- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience in working in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholder teams
- Technical depth and experience in business initiatives requiring data driven solutions
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key
- 6+ years of consulting, presales, enterprise selling, and/or program/product management experience specifically supporting database, analytics, and AI initiatives
- Experience working with Big Data, Business Intelligence and other analytics technology is required
- Experience with Analytics visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Quicksight) a plus
- Experience with JavaScript, ASP, JSP, PHP, Perl, and/or Python

As as member of the Worldwide Data Strategy for AI team within Amazon Web Services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver an overall data strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon’s cloud computing platform for Database, Analytics, AIML, and Generative AI. Your responsibilities will include helping to define key customers and industries to target, driving the necessary business and technical relationships with customers and partners to establish new business in those accounts and industries, and enabling the sales team drive the day-to-day interactions with prospects in order to build long-term business opportunity. You’ll also work closely with the product/service teams to help them evolve the products/services and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field.
The ideal candidate will have both a business and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a strong technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers, data science, data architects, and DBA's. She/he should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, solution reference architectures, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as a key technical member of the Global Data Strategy for AI team focused on helping to drive overall AWS database, analytics, and AIML/Generative strategy for customer data transformations.
Align with regional account teams, partners, and professional services to develop large lighthouse customers utilizing broad services of the AWS Database, Analytics, and AIML/Generative AI platform to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Lead customer workshop engagements and briefings, present at customer and AWS events, and further AWS Data Strategy thought leadership and brand.
Alignment with service teams to ensure voice-of-customer visibility into user priorities.
Spend considerable time face to face with customer C-suite, LOB, and IT decision makers to influence AWS wins and accelerate customer business outcomes and how to leverage data as a competitive advantage.
Engage with customers on the technical challenges, considerations, and solutions that may impact their data platform decisions such as governance and organizational considerations.
Build internal support and excitement with other internal teams to increase Data Strategy engagement.
Collaborate with other internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging and differentiation of the AWS Data and AIML/Generative AI solutions at AWS.
Build industry content around business use cases spanning data and generative AI solutions.

Development of thought leadership content, white papers, videos, and blogs
Learn and be curious, participate in enablement activities focused on new Generative AI offerings.

Lead internal program and offering certification across partners, ProServe, and field sellers
