Description
- 10+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience
- 5+ years of experience leading high-performing sales teams, including people leaders
- Proven track record of managing revenue and consistently exceeding sales targets
- Experience selling to Media, Gaming, or Technology customers, including technical sales cycles and developer engagement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior customer executives
- Executive-level relationships within the gaming industry, including publishers and studios
- Familiarity with game development pipelines, engines, and common industry tools (e.g., Unreal, Unity)
- Demonstrated success driving cloud adoption among developer and technical audiences
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Experience building or leading customer-obsessed, innovation-driven sales teams
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms, especially for real-time rendering, backend services, or analytics in gaming

Video games are one of the largest forms of entertainment in the world, with 2 billion gamers playing a diverse range of games on PCs, mobile devices, and consoles. AWS is actively investing in this space and is looking to help game developers create games faster and easier. Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of the AWS platform by engaging with companies and game developers building the next generation games? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help further establish AWS as the leader in games?

AWS is looking for a dynamic, customer-focused sales executive to lead our Canada-based TMEGS business. This role is responsible for scaling cloud adoption across some of Canada’s most innovative studios and tech companies. As a leader of leaders, you’ll guide a cross-functional team, influence developer and executive audiences, and shape go-to-market strategies in a fast-paced, creative environment.

The ideal candidate will have both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with producers, engineers, and architects. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.

You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to own, define, develop and execute an industry plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.


Key job responsibilities
• Drive adoption of AWS’s full suite of services across Canada’s gaming studios and publishers
• Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and performance targets
• Scale an integrated go-to-market team in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment
• Develop and execute a GTM plan inclusive of customer references, technical support, PS, and training
• Build deep relationships with studio leaders, CTOs, and development teams to embed AWS into the game dev lifecycle
• Engage cross-functionally across AWS (solution architects, BD, marketing) and externally with partners to extend reach and value
• Represent the Canadian Games business in AWS operating cadences and share consolidated insights with senior AWS leaders
• Cultivate a customer-obsessed culture that delivers innovative, frictionless customer experiences
• Champion customer satisfaction and act as the voice of the customer within AWS
• Support AWS operating cadences and provide executive-level business updates
• Travel moderately to support key customer engagements, industry events, and internal AWS forums

Echo Jobs has been exceptional in my job hunt where it provides one platform to job hunt and I don't have to open 10 websites just to look for a job. It has also helped me focus much on the job skill and the location filtering out the onsite jobs and remote ones. The only feature that I would request is to display fully remote jobs that are not restricted to a country since the one available shows ie, Remote, US yet. But if it could show remote only, that would be helpful not only to me but to other people applying for full remote and not tied to only US candidates
