- 7+ years of people management experience
- 7+ years of technical program management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Experience in people management, technical program and project management across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- 7+ years of work in internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment experience
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of cloud computing services or deployment architecture
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience with agile or other program management methodologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. As a Senior Analytics Manager, you will be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making for one of the world's largest and most sophisticated data center operations. You'll lead cross-functional teams to design and implement analytics solutions that optimize performance, reduce costs, and enable strategic planning across our global footprint. This role requires a unique blend of technical program management excellence, analytics expertise, and the ability to influence senior leadership through compelling data narratives.

You will partner with engineering, operations, finance, and business intelligence teams to establish scalable analytics frameworks that support critical business decisions. Your work will directly impact how AWS plans, builds, and operates data centers that power millions of customers worldwide. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, drives clarity through data, and has a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-year programs that create measurable business value. You should be equally comfortable diving deep into technical architectures and presenting strategic insights to VP and SVP-level audiences.

Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Program Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-year analytics programs spanning multiple teams and organizations
• Define and drive the strategic vision for analytics capabilities that support GDCO business priorities
• Establish and manage cross-functional partnerships with engineering, operations, finance, and business intelligence teams
• Drive alignment across stakeholders on program goals, success metrics, and delivery timelines
• Mentor and develop TPMs and analytics professionals across the organization

Analytics & Data Strategy
• Design and implement scalable analytics frameworks and methodologies to solve complex operational challenges
• Drive the development of predictive models, dashboards, and reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making
• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines and infrastructure
• Establish analytics best practices, standards, and governance across GDCO
• Translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations for senior leadership

Technical Execution
• Lead technical design discussions and make critical architectural decisions for analytics platforms
• Manage dependencies across multiple systems, teams, and technology stacks
• Drive continuous improvement in data quality, accessibility, and analytics capabilities
• Ensure scalability and reliability of analytics solutions supporting global operations
• Navigate ambiguity and make sound technical trade-offs in fast-paced environments

Stakeholder Management & Communication
• Present complex analytics findings and program updates to VP and SVP-level audiences
• Build strong relationships with business and technical leaders across AWS
• Influence without authority to drive organizational change and adoption of analytics solutions
• Create compelling narratives that connect data insights to business outcomes
