Software Development Manager, Machine Learning Accelerators

- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupational experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- Proven track record in new hardware bring-up
- Solid Knowledge of computer/chip architecture and code generation
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience in compiler design and architecture
- Knowledge of LLVM and MLIR

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineering Manager to lead portion of our Deep-Learning Backend Compiler team at AWS Neuron. You will manage a team of talented compiler engineers focused on machine learning compiler design and development. In this role, you will drive the design and implementation of ML compiler solutions, develop advanced optimization techniques, lead hardware bring-up for next-generation chips, and influence pre-silicon design decisions while mentoring your team. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact AWS's machine learning infrastructure and accelerate the delivery of innovative products and features to market.
