Software Development Engineer, Prime Video Sports Partner Integration

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to develop, design, and bring to market innovative devices and services.
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry
• Design and develop large scale highly distributed, high performance and low latency systems with exposure to cutting edge technologies at incredible scale and speed
• Build distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.

A day in the life
We’re building a wide variety of services in Seattle, WA, from low-latency, high-TPS services that enable broadcast partner success, which ultimately drives selection to our customers. As Prime Video Sports grows, this team will expand the breadth and depth of scalable services and tooling available to our partners. You will design, implement, and operationally support world class systems that delight our broadcaster customers and scale our business.
