Description
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. As an engineer in this organization, you contribute directly to how customers experience interactions with Amazon and how support engineers resolve highly complex and technical issues for customers. You own projects from inception to delivery, seeking to deliver results in a fast paced environment. You will work with highly qualified team members, product managers and experience designers to raise the bar on delighting customers.

Our technology platforms continously change to meet customer needs, lower operational costs and burden, and to innovate. We are fully built on native AWS Technologies and have low operational burden. Knowledge of front end technologies like React are desirable.

About the team
Ballista is delivering on the charter of a single pane of glass for troubleshooting experiences used by 6000+ support engineers worldwide in distributed sites. We are a full stack team working primarily on Native AWS technologies, Node JS and React based systems.
