- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

A day in the life
Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, build and bring innovative products and services to market. Architecting globally distributed systems with emphasis on scalability and reliability. This includes experience with cross-regional data consistency, cache invalidation strategies, and distributed transaction management. You should be well-versed in designing fault-tolerant systems that maintain high availability across multiple regions while handling complex state management. Good background in security protocols and identity management systems is essential, as is experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing patterns. Additionally, you should be comfortable with modern DevOps practices and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for large-scale distributed systems.
