Software Development Engineer, Amazon Native Player (ANP) and Inspire Experience

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. You will play a critical role in the evolving ANP's architecture, implementing new React Native features for Amazon customers, and working with both experience and foundational component teams.

Key job responsibilities
As a SDE-II in the ANP team, you will build new features that modernize and make the media experience more engaging, you will expand the types of content rendered (e.g. Live streams, AR/VR, etc.), you will optimize for rendering quality and performance, you will establish design patterns that empowers engineers across teams to safely innovate. You get to think strategically and envision the future of media within inspirational and social shopping.
