Software Development Engineer, Antenna System Validation

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. As a software engineer for antenna systems, you will collaborate with systems architects, hardware engineering design teams & FW/SW design teams to bring up and test systems combining FPGA, firmware, RF, and networking functions and build advanced tools for the following:
- Characterizing subsystems and systems related to antennas
- Complex data storage
- Hardware test automation
- Firmware design and implementation
- Application development
- Design automation for 2D and 3D structures
- Develop bring up tools and scripts for phased array systems



Key job responsibilities
- Gathering requirements, designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and launching high-quality, large-scale distributed software systems that solve significant customer problems
- Developing the best customer experience, keeping latency, security, and usability in mind
- Working across a broad range of AWS technologies to build advanced tools, distributed systems software and automation workflows
- Developing solutions that scale across a broad range
- Collaborating with a diverse range of cross-functional roles - systems architects, hardware engineering design teams & FW/SW design teams
- Promoting a culture of engineering excellence by establishing best practices and technical standards across the organization
- Leading and mentoring other talented engineers
