Description
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of professional experiences in Supply Chain / Transportation or related environment for an International company
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience
- Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot, SUMIF)
- Analytical skills with ability to handle complex data sets and develop problem-solving hypotheses
- English: Intermediate (able to attend internal meetings, able to negotiate internally)
- Japanese: Intermediate (able to attend internal meetings, able to negotiate internally)
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Comfortable writing documents for clear status report to leadership or for building consensus
- 3+ years of experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analyst role.
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 3+ years process improvement experience
- Familiarity with Transportation and Supply Chain management concepts – especially forecasting, planning, network design & optimization - gained through work experience or education.
- Recent experience in project management, handling multiple priorities, and working with varied stakeholders.
- Able to extract and process data using SQL/Redshift. Experience with VBA or Python.

2. Cross-functional Leadership
- Drive collaboration with multiple internal teams to create integrated transportation solutions
- Partner with global teams to identify and implement best practices and tools
- Manage key stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives
3. Analytics & Performance Management
- Conduct scenario-based analysis using advanced simulation tools
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting frameworks
- Utilize data management systems (SQL, Python, Excel) to track and analyze operational metrics
4. Process Innovation
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes
- Implement automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Benchmark performance against global standards and adapt best practices for the Japanese market
