- Experience in 3D CAD

- 3+ Years of Experience with Battery Design, Management and Charging

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Prime Air is seeking an experienced Battery/BMS engineer to aid the development and scaling of the Production and Field Operations of the electrical propulsion system of Prime Air Drones. This role will require you to dive deep into root cause analysis, troubleshoot in a lab environment, develop mitigations, and drive future solutions for the Battery and the operations regarding it. You will also be responsible for documenting and developing streamlined workflows to deliver corrective actions, interfacing with supply chain and external vendors, and applying this knowledge into production-level test systems to help mitigate issues on future Battery systems and Solutions.
Key job responsibilities
- Troubleshooting with hardware/software interfaces
- Root cause analysis on hardware failures across the electrical propulsion subsystem
- Providing corrective actions
- Implementing changes in production-level hardware/software
- Diving deep in to Battery Cells, production, charging methods, etc.
