Description
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience coordinating between multiple project stakeholders
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Key job responsibilities
A successful candidate is a customer experience advocate with proven ability to work backwards from the end user to create elegant user journeys, has demonstrated the ability to earn the trust of cross-functional stakeholders, and has experience owning and measurably improving a product. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty navigating complex solution areas and coalescing requirements from different business teams into a coherent, intuitive experience strategy.
You will partner with teams of Program managers , Business Intelligence Engineer and Software Development Engineers to enable experiences to help solve the needs of customers who contact Amazon Business CS. You have a strong bias toward data driven decision making, and an innate ability to understand how metrics relate to business problems and with each other. You are willing to experiment, fail fast, learn and iterate to improve. You understand and account for the implications of your work to front-line operations.
You are comfortable working with APIs, data handling, data pipeline setup, CSALT or similar data access layers and have an in-depth knowledge of a high-level programming language such as Java, Python or C/C++.
Your experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms and relational databases allows you to identify, analyze and solve ambiguous problems independently.


A day in the life
Your typical day will involve leveraging your expertise in Java, Python, and GraphQL to design and build robust data pipelines that extract and process data from various sources. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilizing your strong communication skills to gather data requirements and ensure seamless integration into customer service tools. Drawing insights from data analysis, you'll identify business opportunities and implement solutions to enhance customer experiences. Additionally, you'll continuously monitor and optimize data flows, applying your in-depth knowledge of APIs, data handling, and data access layers to improve data quality and accessibility.
