Last Mile Delivery Experience (LMDX)

Last Mile Delivery Experience (LMDX) team is looking for a program managers who are responsible for improving delivery quality by proposing scalable improvement measures through complex and large-scale data analysis and close collaboration with operations.
We, LMDX, are leading Amazon's last-mile delivery quality improvement activities. As an example, on-time delivery success rate and redelivery rate are important indicator. As new initiatives are launched and new delivery stations are being established every day, in order to proceed with improvement activities for delivery stations all over Japan, we place the utmost importance on appropriate prioritization and data-driven decision-making after considering issues specific to the site and the impact on the overall business.

The mission of this position is to establish operational excellence and improve quality indicators in the assigned regions of responsibility (e.g., Kanto, Kansai). A state where everyone can take standard work as a matter of course leads to the highest quality. Achieving these is no easy feat. However, we believe that when you join the team, you will be excited by the challenging nature of the issues and the magnitude of the business impact. This position requires communication skills necessary for close cooperation with site managers in the region in charge, analytical ability to quantify site conditions and discover issues, logical explanation skills necessary to smoothly get alignments on proposed measures, and business-level Japanese/English proficiency. Since it is necessary to face different issues at each delivery station, it is also expected that you have a true hands-on approach.
