We are looking for a technically strong Program Manager to join the Amazon Now team. This role sits at the intersection of data, technology, and business operations — driving programs across ML data readiness, AWS account governance, analytics automation, and advanced business analyses. You will define program roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional execution, and ensure delivery against milestones while managing dependencies across Data Engineering, Science, Product, and Engineering teams.
The ideal candidate combines structured program management thinking with hands-on proficiency in data analytics and engineering. You should be comfortable writing SQL queries, building dashboards, interpreting data pipelines, and using this technical depth to drive better program decisions, unblock teams, and validate delivery quality.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end program management for ML data pipeline initiatives — scoping requirements, tracking delivery milestones, and ensuring data quality standards are met
- Own AWS account governance programs including access management, security reviews, seller integration onboarding, and compliance tracking
- Lead analytics automation programs — identifying manual reporting bottlenecks, defining automation roadmaps, and coordinating build-out of AI/LLM-powered solutions for business reviews (WBR/MBR)
- Manage programs around advanced business analyses (customer cohorts, regional selection, A/B testing, promo effectiveness) — aligning priorities with business stakeholders and ensuring timely delivery
- Partner with Data Engineers, Scientists, SDEs, BAs, and business leaders to resolve blockers and trade-off decisions
- Contribute to team planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement initiatives
