Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Key job responsibilities
As a Principal Technical Program Manager (P-TPM), you will
1) Define, own and drive technical programs that span multiple engineering teams and organizational boundaries.
2) You will partner with product management and technical leadership to identify company-wide opportunities to simplify and automate the work done by engineering teams to maintain customer privacy.
3) Drive large scale projects spanning teams across Amazon from inception to conclusion, formulate the product vision, define user stories, research appropriate technical solutions.
4) Clearly communicate vision, plans and project status to management and key technical and business stakeholders.
5) Work closely with the software development team on delivering high-quality solutions, and provide guidance regarding architecture, design, and priorities.
6) Identify, assess and mitigate risks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs balancing the business needs versus constraints.
7) Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
