- 7+ years of experience in product management, systems engineering, IC design or applications engineering
- 5+ years of experience developing or managing complex wireless devices for satellite broadband in aircraft
- 5+ years of experience in digital signal processing implementation in ASICs and understanding of RF simulation tools and antenna design software
- 5+ years of experience with end-to-end product in designing and implementing modem architectures and phased array antenna systems
- Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Engineering or Wireless Communications Systems
- In-depth knowledge of communication customer terminal product life cycle from prototype, assembly, certification, launch, and maintenance for linefit and retrofit across Mobility industry , like aerospace, land mobility or Maritime.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). As a Principal Technical Product Manager for Systems & Hardware on the Project Kuiper Digital Technology Mobility team, you will create and drive the product strategy, vision, and technology roadmap for mobility products for aviation, maritime and land mobility. This role focuses on integrating satellite connectivity with onboard systems to deliver seamless customer experience . This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, finance, and executive teams to envision, develop, and launch innovative mobility products and services.
A successful candidate will be both creative and highly analytical with in-depth hardware and systems knowledge in multiple different domain areas , able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers love. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy – with a proven track record of delivering successful communication products and services. Key job responsibilities
•Understand and articulate customer needs, conduct on-going customer research, leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritize feature requirements
•Be a passionate advocate for the customer; provide the voice of the customer
•Inspire the team with the product vision, and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life
• Lead technical product strategy and architecture decisions for satellite communication systems, with specific focus on ASIC-based modem and digital beam forming solutions, while ensuring alignment between hardware capabilities, system requirements, and business objectives
• Drive cross-functional development of integrated RF systems, overseeing the optimization of phased array antenna systems, sensor integration (IMU/GNSS), and EMI/EMC compliance, while managing technical trade-offs and performance metrics
• Define and execute product roadmap for reusable technology, focusing on scalable SATCOM architecture, including specification of critical parameters (G/T, EIRP), system integration requirements, and validation strategies for complex RF systems
•Serve as the technical product expert, assisting marketing with press briefing, industry talks, and whitepapers and participating with business development in product and service discussions with customers.
