- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Systems Engineer to lead the design, integration, and management of an autonomous navigation system that includes cameras, lidars, radars, compute platform systems throughout their life cycles. As a Systems Engineer, you will work cross-functionally to ensure systems are designed to meet technical, operational, and system requirements while maintaining quality, safety, and performance standards.


Key job responsibilities
• Define, analyze, and manage system-level requirements and architecture.
• Develop and maintain system specifications, interface definitions, and design documentation.
• Coordinate across engineering disciplines (firmware, hardware, mechanical, etc.) to ensure cohesive system development.
• Lead or support system integration, verification, validation, and testing.
• Take into account trade studies, modeling, and simulations to guide design decisions.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the system development life cycle.
• Ensure automotive compliance with ISO standards and regulations.
• Participate in design and technical reviews and support customer and stakeholder engagements.
