Front End Engineer, Amazon Location Service, AWS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience developing on AWS
- Experience creating UX designs from requirements

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a front end engineer to drive UI and SDK development for Amazon Location Service. You will take the lead on e2e full stack design and development while at the same time bringing to our team deep knowledge of front end technologies and advanced UX design patterns such as responsiveness, device/browser support and progressive enhancement. You will provide a front end perspective championing UX patterns and best practices and highly performant UIs by assisting with front end profiling and analysis tools.

A day in the life
Start your day, grab a coffee (or tea), say hi to your team, design and build features to create or enhance applications. Other elements in the day of an FEE include ensuring operational effectiveness of systems, providing oncall support, running and attending meetings including sprint ceremonies and reviewing designs and work products with your team and stakeholders.
