Data Engineer, AIGC Science and Analytics

- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. The AIGC Science and Analytics team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. You will be leading Data Engineering space to support the AIGC org initiatives. If you enjoy innovating, thinking big and want to contribute directly to the success of a growing team, you may be a prime candidate for this position.

The successful candidate will be an expert with ETL programming/scripting, data modelling, data integration, SQL and have exemplary communication skills. The candidate will need to be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. The candidate will know and love working with AWS technologies, can model multidimensional datasets, and can partner with customers to answer key business questions.

Key job responsibilities
Owning the design, operations and improvements for the Data warehouse infrastructure
Engineering solutions to aggregate and automate large scale data flows from varying sources
Collaborate with Engineers and Scientists in the organization to construct complex data sources for algorithms and machine learning models
Explore and learn the latest AWS technologies to provide new capabilities and increase efficiency
Build real time streaming from internal and external sources to provide insights to the business
Build, analyze and present actionable data to drive marketing business development and product management decisions
Help continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers.
