Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. We are looking for or a motivated Data Engineer with strong database, analytical skills and big data technology experience to to help foster nascent ideas into scalable products and launch them on a variety of streaming platforms.
A successful candidate will have a passion for data and analytics, knows and loves working with BI tools, is comfortable accessing and working with Big data from multiple sources, and can partner with internal stakeholders to help drive the business. They will have a deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions, possess excellent statistical and analytical abilities, and have the ability to work with technology, product development, and business teams. They will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and driven by a desire to innovate.

Key job responsibilities
* Partner with Product team to understand the business requirements and implement solutions to support product plans.
* Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
* Implement training and documentation solutions that enables stakeholders to get the most out of our self-serve analytics tools.
* Develop and support the analytical technologies that give our customers timely, flexible and structured access to their data.
* Defining, developing and maintaining critical business and operational reports reviewed on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
* Analysis of historical data to extract meaningful insights from large and complex data sets to identify trends and support decision making, including written and verbal presentation of results and recommendations
* Collaborating with software development teams to implement analytics systems and data structures to support large-scale data analysis and delivery of machine learning models
* Understanding of Amazon’s data resources, which to use, how, and when
* Conduct ad hoc data analysis and data quality investigations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
