Description
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience as an Electrical Lab or Application Engineer.
- Experience with PCB debugging and testing, including microprocessors, power supplies, ADCs and sensors
- Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools
- 4+ years relevant aerospace manufacturing experience
- 4+ years of hands-on work experience Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration and/ or Harness Integration experience
- 4+ years experience in a fast-paced production environment with Flight Hardware
- 4+ years of hand on experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices (i.e., automated and manual torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters, torque wrenches)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment


- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Electrical engineering work experience in Aerospace, Consumer Electronics, Power Electronics, Robotics, Automotive, and/or Communications fields or combination thereof
- Experience in development and test of satellite bus systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplines
- Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license
- Able to read, interpret and work from engineering documentation and/ or drawings
- Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
- Previous military service a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $73,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

The Lab Engineer will be a member of the Battery Production team, focusing on executing test plans for various electrical functions of the Battery including PCBA testing, tooling design, create Battery SOPs, work with Battery Lead to assist in designing more efficient processes as well as assisting Engineering with RCAs. They will be expected to lead test plan execution and improve new processes as well as perform advanced reworks.

Key job responsibilities
- Setup and execute tests and experiments
- Help create test cases and test plans, modifying existing test documentation as needed
- Collect and deliver data; write and/or contribute to test reports
- Perform verification testing of system components
- Provide test feedback to teams to improve quality performance through all phases of data collection
- Work with design and test engineers assisting with prototype builds
- Perform maintenance and repair of test equipment and test fixtures
