Applied Science Manager, GenAI, Trust and Store Integrity Science

- 3+ years of scientists or machine learning engineers management experience
- Knowledge of ML, NLP, Information Retrieval and Analytics
- Proven experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications
- Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or related languages
- Experience with deep learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, MxNet)
- Research publications in computer vision, deep learning, or machine learning at peer-reviewed venues
- PhD, or Master's degree with 5+ years of applied research experience
- Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application
- Experience building complex software systems, especially involving deep learning, machine learning and computer vision, that have been successfully delivered to customers
- PhD in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Experience leading, mentoring, and growing teams of five or more scientists
- Track record of patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
- Expertise with PyTorch and other popular deep learning frameworks
- Experience with multi-modal LLMs and GenAI in Computer Vision across image and video domains

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. You will manage a team of applied scientists and set the technical direction for building agentic systems that transform multimedia content understanding.
