Antenna Systems Engineer

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment experience
- Experience with RF lab equipment including VNA, power meters, spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators
- Experience with Hardware/Software system bring up and debugging
- BS in Electrical Engineering with relevant coursework in digital communication theory, digital signal processing, RF/Microwave Engineering, Antennas and Electromagnetic theory
- MS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of professional experience or PhD with 5+ years of professional experience
- Experience in RF system design, line-up analysis, digital modulation, radio architecture
- Experience with simulation tools such as SystemVue, ADS or LabView
- Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Highly accurate and detail-oriented

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. As a System Development Engineer, you will be responsible for integration, simulation, and test of state-of-the-art space borne phased array systems. You will work internally and cross-functionally with a multi-disciplinary team to improve test speed and data collection, perform root cause analysis, and correlate test data with end-to-end system level simulations.


Key job responsibilities
• Measure, validate, and perform root cause analysis on phased array systems and sub-systems
• Interface with standard RF equipment to enable automation and efficient data collection
• Create and/or modify new software features to enable testing of standard phased array system metrics such as EIRP, EVM, and G/T
• Act as a liaison with the Leo software team to drive new product requirements based on RF system test needs
• Perform end-to-end modeling, simulation, and analysis of digital phased array systems
