About the role

Lead the product strategy and execution for Amanotes’ Music Apps portfolio, co-owning the product vision, roadmap, and business outcomes (growth, engagement, monetization) end-to-end.

Partner with the Head of Music App and cross-functional leaders to define the multi-year direction for Music Apps, then translate it into clear bets, roadmaps, and experiments that deliver measurable results at scale.
- Co-own the Music Apps product vision and 1–3 year roadmap with the Head of Music App, making clear strategic choices on which user problems, markets, and business opportunities to prioritize.
- Own the business performance of Music Apps (revenue, ARPDAU, subscriptions, LTV/CAC, profitability).
- Build, lead, and coach a high-performing product team (PMs, cross-functional squads) with clear goals, ownership, and growth paths.
- Shape and continuously improve the operating model for Music Apps (cadence, decision-making, experimentation, quality bar)
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product strategy for Music Apps, from market and user insights to clear product bets, success metrics, and portfolio priorities.
- Co-lead the Music Apps roadmap with the Head of Music Apps, balancing short-term wins and long-term strategic investments.
- Own prioritization across squads and initiatives, making explicit trade-offs on scope, quality, and speed to maximize business impact.
- Lead and mentor POs in the Music Apps domain, ensuring strong product thinking, execution, and growth.
- Represent Music Apps in key company forums (planning, reviews, investment discussions), aligning stakeholders and securing resources.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Manager (or similar role) for consumer mobile apps (B2C), ideally in entertainment, lifestyle, productivity, or content-based apps.
- Strong experience building and scaling mobile apps for global markets (multiple countries/regions, app stores, and user segments).
- Proven track record of shipping features or products end-to-end – from discovery and specification to launch and iteration – with measurable business impact.
- Strong skills in problem framing, product discovery, and translating ideas into clear product requirements and roadmaps.
- Solid understanding of mobile app metrics and growth (activation, funnels, retention, cohorts, engagement, monetization, LTV/CAC).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing) in an agile or iterative development environment.
- Ability to work both strategically and hands-on: from understanding high-level vision to reviewing detailed flows, copy, and builds.
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable working with data, setting up basic analyses, and using insights to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, able to create alignment and clarity across teams.
- Professional working proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Experience with music-tech, or gaming apps, or other live-service products.
- Familiarity with in-app purchases and/or subscription models on iOS and Android.
- Experience running A/B tests and growth experiments in consumer apps.
- Background or strong interest in music (e.g., playing an instrument, DJing, producing, or deep passion for music and music apps).
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech or mobile company.
