Staff Full Stack Software Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Staff Software Full Stack Engineer who will play a pivotal role in our development team. This team work on the development of the platform for data analysis and data blending. This team is responsible for supporting core features of the platform such as authorisation, users management and assets management. The ideal candidate should have 5 - 10 years of experience in software development and possess a proactive mindset for problem-solving. They should be able to work autonomously on tasks, while also leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Programming Languages: Expertise in languages relevant to the organization's technology stack (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, etc.).
• Software Development: Strong experience in software development, including knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• System Design: Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and robust systems.
• Code Quality and Best Practices: Commitment to code quality, including experience with code reviews, testing frameworks, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Technical Architecture: Experience in defining and implementing technical architectures that align with business goals.
• DevOps: Strong experience with DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, automated testing, and deployment.
• Database Management: Background of database design, management, and optimization (SQL and NoSQL databases).
• Cloud Services: Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.

Leadership and Management Skills

• Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Project Management: Ability to manage projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress against timelines and objectives.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and team members.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and guide the team towards solutions.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technical decisions with the company’s strategic goals and long-term vision.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience in working with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.

Experience and Education

• Relevant Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Software Development, plus a couple of years experience leading technical teams.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, Certified ScrumMaster) can be advantageous.

Soft Skills

• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technologies, methodologies, and team dynamics.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships within and outside the team.
• Empathy: Understanding and addressing the needs and concerns of team members.
