AlphaGrep is a quantitative trading and investment firm founded in 2010. We are one of the largest firms by trading volume on Indian exchanges and have significant market share on several large global exchanges as well. We use a disciplined and systematic quantitative approach to identify factors that consistently generate alpha. These factors are then coupled with our proprietary ultra-low latency trading systems and robust risk management to develop trading strategies across asset classes (equities, commodities, currencies, fixed income) that trade on global exchanges.

Responsibilities

AlphaGrep is seeking an exceptional Quantitative Reseach Intern to join us for a 6 months internship in our Mumbai office. 

Your responsibilities may include any of the following, which will require you to exercise discretion and independent judgment:

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage data for algorithmic processes.
  • Build models using both raw and constructed data.
  • Develop methodologies to filter signals.
  • Employ ensemble methods and conduct A/B testing to improve and validate model performance.
  • Streamline model training processes utilizing computational clusters.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of neural networks and deep learning algorithms (experience with LSTM is a plus).
  • Proficient in applications of statistical methods for time series analysis.
  • Expertise in predictive algorithm design and implementation.
  • Proficient in feature engineering.
  • Ability to harness computational power.
  • Detail oriented and inquisitive to problem solving.
  • Stellar communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and conciseness.
  • Programming experience in Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow.
