Senior Cloud Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Automation:

   - Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to manage multi cloud infrastructure.

   - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

   - Document automation processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Cloud Tools Implementation:

   - Evaluate, implement, and support cloud-based tools for observability, including monitoring, logging, and tracing.

   - Implement and support security tools and practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of cloud resources.

   - Integrate observability and security tools with existing systems and workflows.

Continuous Improvement:

   - Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud automation, observability, and security.

   - Continuously evaluate and improve existing automation processes and tools.

   - Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and training to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience:

  - Minimum of 6 to 9 years of experience in cloud engineering, automation, or a related role.

  - Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar platforms.

Skills:

  - Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps.

  - Experience with observability tools such as Elastic Cloud, ELK stack, Grafana, or similar.

  - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
