QA Engineer

Location: Hyderabad, India

About The Role: We are seeking a QA Engineer to design and execute testing strategies across enterprise technology delivery engagements. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle from requirements review through production release.

Location: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid)
Experience: 3–6 years
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts across functional and non-functional testing
• Perform manual and automated testing across web, API, and backend systems
• Collaborate with developers and BAs to review requirements and identify testable acceptance criteria
• Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution using tools such as JIRA or equivalent
• Conduct regression, integration, smoke, and UAT support testing
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and maintain existing automated test suites
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Produce clear test summary reports and communicate quality status to project stakeholders
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• 3–6 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles
• Strong experience with manual testing across web and API-based applications
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured
• Experience with defect management and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, or similar)
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with performance or load testing tools (JMeter, k6, or similar)
• Domain experience in financial services, insurance, or healthcare
• ISTQB certification or equivalent
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
