Alkira, Inc., a Network as a Service company, is growing. As we continue
to reinvent networking for the multicloud era and as our customers
continue to grow with us, we are expanding our Engineering team in India.
We are looking for Senior Software Engineer in our Platform Engineering team
who will work on scaling, new services rollout and innovation for Alkira's world
class cloud networking solution.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the growth, innovation and scalability of the infrastructure that underpins Alkira’s Cloud Networking platform.
  Responsibilities include:
  • Building infrastructure using Terraform
  • Scale up / scale down of clusters as required
    Maintaining charts and pipelines
  • New services rollout
• Building alerting infrastructure
• Rotational on-call support for production / dev issues
• Managing monitoring infrastructure like Grafana and Prometheus
  

Requirements:

• At least 6 years’ experience in building and management of production Cloud systems
• Strong software programming skills – Python required, Golang preferred
• Strong hands on experience with Terraform
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems
• Experience with cloud providers; AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with management of Grafana and Prometheus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to quickly grasp new concepts
• Highly desirable - Hashicorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Concourse-CI, Jenkins
