Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Integration Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware, APIs, and cloud-based data integration. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Boomi and Airbyte, along with experience integrating enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Snowflake, SaaS platforms, and databases.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting scalable integration solutions across cloud and enterprise systems. Strong knowledge of AWS, API development, ETL/ELT, microservices, and modern integration patterns is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Integration & Middleware
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise integration solutions using Boomi, Airbyte, APIs, middleware, and cloud technologies.
- Develop and manage integrations between Salesforce, Snowflake, SaaS applications, databases, and other enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines using Airbyte and AWS.
- Work with Boomi to develop integration processes, mappings, transformations, connectors, workflows, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Apply modern integration patterns including ETL/ELT, batch processing, real-time integration, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
2. API & Integration Development
- Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs.
- Implement API authentication mechanisms including OAuth, API keys, and JWT.
- Design robust API integrations with appropriate error handling, retries, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Work with distributed systems and microservices-based architectures.
- Perform data transformation, synchronization, mapping, and validation across integrated systems.
3. AWS & Cloud Integration
- Design and implement cloud-based integration and data pipeline solutions using AWS.
- Leverage AWS services for integration, data processing, storage, monitoring, and secure connectivity.
- Ensure secure connectivity between cloud applications and enterprise systems.
- Implement scalable and reliable cloud integration architectures.
4. Enterprise Applications & Data Platforms
- Develop integrations involving Salesforce, Snowflake, SaaS applications, databases, and third-party systems.
- Work with Salesforce APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
- Support data synchronization and transformation between applications and modern cloud data platforms.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across integrated systems.
5. Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Reliability
- Troubleshoot complex integration and data-related issues and identify root causes.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, retry, and failure-handling mechanisms.
- Analyze integration failures, API issues, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Implement sustainable fixes and continuously improve integration reliability.
6. Architecture, Delivery & Collaboration
- Participate in integration architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure integration solutions meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, performance, maintainability, and reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation including integration architecture, API specifications, data mappings, deployment procedures, and support documentation.
Required Technical Skills & Competencies
- 6–8 years of experience in enterprise integration and middleware development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Boomi – Mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience with Airbyte – Mandatory.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration and iPaaS architecture.
- Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience with OAuth, API keys, JWT, and other API authentication mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT and data transformation.
- Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based integrations.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other enterprise applications.
- Experience working with Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms.
- Experience integrating SaaS applications, databases, and third-party systems.
- Understanding of data synchronization, mapping, transformation, and data quality.
- Knowledge of integration monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
