Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer to provide technical leadership across development, configuration, integrations and platform governance. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in development along with experience leading development teams and delivering large-scale enterprise implementations.
The role requires strong knowledge of modules, enterprise integrations, platform architecture, automation and governance. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, Transformation and Operations teams to design scalable solutions aligned with business objectives, ITIL processes, security requirements and best practices.
Key responsibilities:
1. Development & Technical Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Define and execute development strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Design, develop and deploy applications, workflows, service catalogs and integrations.
- Provide technical leadership across modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps and custom applications.
- Review technical designs and development deliverables to ensure quality, scalability and maintainability.
2. Architecture & Platform Governance
- Drive platform governance including coding standards, security controls and design frameworks.
- Design scalable architecture and enterprise solutions.
- Establish development and configuration standards across the platform.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security and compliance requirements.
- Support platform lifecycle management and continuous improvement initiatives.
3.Integration & Automation
- Lead complex integrations using REST, SOAP, APIs, LDAP and MID Server.
- Design and implement integrations with enterprise applications and external systems.
- Develop automation and advanced workflows using best practices.
- Explore and implement emerging capabilities including AI/ML where appropriate.
- Ensure integrations are secure, scalable and reliable.
4.Module Development & IT Service Management
- Develop and enhance solutions across key modules.
- Apply strong understanding of ITSM processes and ITIL frameworks.
- Work with CMDB, ITOM, CSM and custom application development.
- Support HRSD, SecOps and other capabilities based on business requirements.
- Ensure solutions support effective service management and operational processes.
5.Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirements Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts, solution options and architectural decisions effectively.
- Partner with Transformation and Operations teams to identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Support platform adoption and drive innovation across capabilities.
6.Platform Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Support platform upgrades, patching and maintenance activities.
- Monitor and improve platform performance, stability and reliability.
- Identify technical debt and implement improvements to platform health.
- Ensure alignment with compliance standards and enterprise security policies.
- Contribute to continuous service improvement and platform lifecycle management.
7.DevOps & Agile Delivery
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for development.
- Promote automation and efficient development and deployment processes.
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Required technical skills and competencies:
- 7-15 years of experience in development, with significant hands-on development and leadership experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS, HTML and CSS.
- Deep knowledge of at least two modules such as ITSM, HRSD, IRM or SecOps.
- Good understanding of CMDB, ITOM, CSM and custom application development.
- Proven experience in architecture and enterprise integrations.
- Strong experience with REST, SOAP, APIs, LDAP and MID Server.
- Experience with workflows, automation and service catalog development.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience delivering large-scale implementations.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, compliance and enterprise security requirements.
Must have skills:
