The successful candidate will be the business owner of multiple enterprise applications, with a primary focus on laboratory software systems. The main responsibility will be handling LabVantage LIMS ELN, ensuring its effective implementation and utilization across the organization.

In this role a typical day will include:

• Serving as the R&D business owner for multiple laboratory enterprise applications with a primary focus on LabVantage LIMS ELN
• Developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets for the implementation and enhancement of laboratory software systems.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for laboratory software systems.
• Providing leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.
• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with the implementation and maintenance of laboratory software systems.
• Developing and delivering training programs for end-users to ensure effective utilization of LabVantage LIMS ELN and other laboratory software systems.
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance of laboratory software systems, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
• Staying current with industry trends and advancements in laboratory software systems, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of technology.

What you will bring to Alcon:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD +3 yrs.)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience
• Experience with LabVantage LIMS ELN or similar laboratory systems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Experience with other enterprise applications and their integration with laboratory software systems.
• Hands on laboratory experience
