Lead Salesforce Developer

Location: Mexico City (Hybrid)

As a Lead Salesforce Developer supporting our Development Team, you will be trusted to provide technical leadership, guide the development team, and ensure that Salesforce solutions are effectively designed, developed, and implemented to meet our business needs at Location.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the Salesforce development team, ensuring that best practices and coding standards are upheld.
• Leading grooming sessions, providing guidance on the level of effort required for development tasks, and helping to prioritize work.
• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
• Acting as the technical point of contact for large initiatives, providing expertise and direction to ensure successful project delivery.
• Integrating Salesforce with other internal and external applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Proven experience in leading development teams and providing technical guidance.
• Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integration.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II.

Preferred:

• Salesforce Administration 201 Certification.
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working on large-scale Salesforce implementations or transformations.
