Our Digital Health team is harnessing technology to build a leading portfolio of digital health solutions that will transform the eye care experience for medical professionals to patients and enable improved patient outcomes – from a predictive health care delivery platform harnessing ML and analytics to innovative medical device software.

As a Project Manager, supporting our Digital health team, you will run project management processes which may include training, coaching employees, communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, providing status to program management, appraising and reviewing contributions, and enforcing policies and procedures. We are looking for someone who is not only a talented leader, but who also is a problem solver. This role will be in Fort Worth, Texas and a typical day will include:

• Manage transformation and development projects in a fast-paced and Agile environment to ensure execution on time and within budget.
• Coordinate sub-projects/tasks among vendor and internal resources.
• Maintain and prioritize a list of issues affecting the project and pro-actively assure their resolution through appropriate parties (e.g., Solution Architect, infrastructure architect, software/hardware vendor, System Integrator)
• Create project reporting (e.g., status updates, reviews) and deliver presentations indicating progress reports.
• Evaluate and create review documents for changes to project scope.
• Perform project risk assessment and assist in evaluating and identifying controls for the risks.
• Identify new risks and provide updates to risk management plan.

What You’ll Bring to Alcon:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years as Project/Program Manager
• PMP Certification
• Scrum Master experience
• Working knowledge of enterprise architecture, application lifecycle management, and software development methodology
• Experience working in SaaS or a fast-paced environment
