Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on engineering support to day-to-day manufacturing operations.
  • Work directly with technicians on the production floor to troubleshoot product, process, test, calibration and equipment-related issues.
  • Investigate manufacturing problems using logical, structured and evidence-based problem-solving.
  • Support root-cause investigations and drive issues through to effective resolution.
  • Identify and support opportunities to improve quality, yield, efficiency, process stability and production throughput.
  • Participate in daily production meetings and clearly communicate priorities, technical issues, risks and required actions.
  • Proactively escalate issues impacting safety, quality, delivery or production while supporting their resolution.
  • Work collaboratively across Production, Engineering, Quality, NPI, Systems and R&D teams.
  • Support engineering trials, process changes and continuous improvement activities.
  • Prepare, update and maintain clear production documentation, including Work Instructions, rework instructions, NCRs, ECNs and production records.


Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Manufacturing, production, test or similar hands-on engineering experience is preferred.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals with logical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Curious, proactive and willing to learn, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Practical and hands-on, with confidence supporting manufacturing processes, troubleshooting and engineering investigations in a production environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in a cross-functional environment.


Role Details

Employment: Full-time, standard day shift with stable hours.
Contract: 18-month contract with potential to become permanent.

No visa sponsorship / relocation will be provided for the role. All applicants need to have full Australian work rights.
