Principal - Product developer, Security & Operations (DevSecOps) - Digital Health

As a DevOps Principal, you will be automating our development and release processes to enable faster and smoother delivery of our digital products and services within Alcon Digital Health, leveraging significant enterprise experience in architecture and hands-on delivery of solutions to achieve business outcomes. This includes having the strong ability to look around the corner at emerging technologies and advise senior leadership around the strategic technical vision for the tower. You will play a key role in furthering the modernization journey for Alcon Digital team to achieve new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable release cycles
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Automate provisioning and configuration of infrastructure using IaC tools
• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance
• Collaborate closely with development and AMS teams to improve deployment processes and support their infrastructure needs
• Ensure high availability and scalability of infrastructure and applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployment
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in the DevOps domain.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years to a maximum of 8 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) (Mandatory skill)
• Proficiency in Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (Mandatory skill)
• Proficient with DevOps methodologies and practices (Mandatory skill)
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability
• Knowledge of cloud services, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proven experience in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Monitoring and Logging, Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP), Devops.
