We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As an Associate Electromechanic Engineer supporting the U.S. Development of Formulation Team, a typical day will include:

• Assisting with the hand on training equipment operators.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform corrective maintenance for all research equipment including technical problems in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.

• Assisting with improvements to the maintenance systems. (Preventative, Corrective, Predictive, and Spare Parts)

• Assisting with technical projects for process upgrades and improvements,

• Must be familiar with GxP and FDA regulations for medical device industry.

• Interacts with internal and external contacts to provide clear, straightforward, effective, and factual communication and information.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

• Work hours: 40 hours

• Travel: 5%

Preferred Experience:

• Assisting with the hand on training equipment operators.
