Supporting customers through integration and optimization, you will act as a trusted advisor and a key gateway to our products and platforms teams. In this role, you will manage technical integrations and drive creative solutions across Akamai's portfolio, protecting APIs and Web applications, defending against bots and abuse with AI-driven tools, all this facilitating CDN and cloud deployments.

As a Technical Project Manager II, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with account teams to assess customer architecture, planning and delivering top-tier integration solutions for API and Web Security products.
• Partnering cross-functionally to enhance integration, deliver quality service, facilitate engagement, and collaborating to align feedback with product priorities.
• Identifying service improvements and issues, ensuring quality enhancement while contributing to projects that refine practices, methodologies, and integration standards.
• Participating in resolving deployment issues, advocating for customers, identifying new use cases, and collaborating with teams to showcase value.
• Tracking and reporting project metrics, milestones, risks, and outcomes while coordinating escalations across engineering, product management, customer support, and success teams.
• Mentoring and coaching other team members to share skills and knowledge and to help team development.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Show experience in a client-facing IT role and delivering technical projects while managing multiple priorities concurrently.
• Demonstrate expertise in API security concepts, shift-left strategies, web technologies like HTTP, DNS, REST, and web development methodologies.
• Have experience with cloud service deployments with one or more IaaS providers.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and convey complex technical concepts effectively while fostering trusted relationships with stakeholders across levels.
• Explore trending AI concepts and apply them daily while collaborating with a global team and maintaining a proactive mindset.
