The Role:

We are looking for Infrastructure Platform Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering key product features, identifying and fixing critical bugs, and improving the reliability and scalability of our platform. You will work with programming languages Go and Python, and with technologies like HashiCorp Terraform and Nomad to enhance our infrastructure and developer experience. Our teams are proud of what we build, and value curiosity, healthy debate, and exchange of ideas. We’d love for you to show us how we can improve what we do!

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure-related software using Go and Python
• Enhance the performance, observability, and scalability of our existing software
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues in our infrastructure and platform services
• Contribute to technical design of features, system architecture, and product roadmap
• Perform peer reviews and participate in technical discussions both at the team level, and across our engineering organization

What We're Looking For:

• Solid debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
• Strong understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems
• Excellent development skills in Go, Python, and Terraform
• Examples of ownership in designing and implementing technical deliverables in a team environment
• Urge to write useful automated tests
• Fluency in English, verbal and written

It Would Be Nice if You Had

• Familiarity with HashiCorp Nomad or similar container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, AWS ECS)
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
• Experience working with CI/CD tools (BuildKite, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Contributions to open-source projects or relevant technical blogs/publications
