Role Overview: The Head of AIS Cloud is responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, and management of the cloud services. This role involves overseeing cloud operations, driving innovation, and ensuring the alignment of cloud strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall cloud strategy to support business goals and drive growth.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of cloud professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Cloud Operations: Oversee the management and optimization of cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance, scalability, and security.
• Innovation and Development: Drive the adoption of new cloud technologies and practices to enhance service offerings and operational efficiency.
• Cost Management: Implement cost-effective strategies to manage cloud expenditures and optimize resource usage.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including IT, finance, and business units, to ensure seamless integration and support of cloud initiatives.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of cloud services, making data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with cloud service providers and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of cloud initiatives, performance metrics, and strategic plans.

Qualifications:

    Educational Background:

        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is often preferred.

    Experience:

        Extensive experience in cloud computing, including architecture, migration, and security.

        Proven track record of leading and managing cloud teams and projects.

    Technical Skills:

        Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

        Strong expertise in cloud governance, strategy development, and FinOps.

    Leadership Skills:

        Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, manage performance, and drive strategic initiatives.

    Communication Skills:

        Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

    Analytical Skills:

        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and improve cloud operations.

    Certifications:

        Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.

    Business Acumen:

        Strong understanding of business processes and how cloud technology can support and enhance them.

    Security Knowledge:

        In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
