About the team

The Marketing team at Airwallex drives brand awareness and customer engagement through innovative and strategic campaigns. What you’ll do

Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, the Growth Marketing Project Manager will collaborate closely with both global and regional teams. This position is pivotal in acting as the liaison among Product, Marketing, Design, Data Science, and Engineering. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to continuously orchestrate, manage, and ship website improvements and increase conversion rates. You’ll play a critical role in supporting our Product-led Growth initiatives, which span everything from user onboarding to personalised in-product communication.

The ideal candidate will ensure that project briefs are accurate and complete, and will strategically schedule work for various resources to meet objectives. The role demands a candidate with significant experience in managing cross-functional production processes and the agility to adjust resource allocation in response to changing needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure seamless execution of website improvements and in-product growth initiatives.

  • Review, refine, and approve briefs to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment with strategic priorities.

  • Partner with the Website Product Owner on roadmap planning and delivery of projects with a focus on driving commercial growth.

  • Work closely with the Website Product Owner to monitor and manage cross-functional workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and velocity.

  • Assess and identify the need to flex up or down resources based on project volume, complexity, and timelines.

  • Partner with the Lifecycle, Marketing Ops, and Growth Engineering to drive usage of our in-product campaign tools and drive campaign launches.

  • Lead go-to-market content creation for new product and country launches with our Product Marketing team. Drive regulatory/compliance and key informational updates.

  • Champion CMS best practices and conduct CMS training to ensure that Marketers are at a self-serve stage.

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in cross-functional project management, ideally at a high-growth global technology company.

  • Proficiency in project management software (Jira or other), along with agile processes and procedures

  • Experience working on a global website with a heavy focus on organic growth.

  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to work effectively across global and regional teams.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment, with a flexible approach to meet changing demands and deadlines.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Contentful platform is a major plus.
