Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

Description

Airis Labs transforms user generated content into actionable field intelligence for government agencies worldwide. Our platform empowers frontline analysts with multi modal AI tools that extract clarity from chaos enabling rapid insight across fragmented, unstructured media.

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to own our client deployments end to end. You'll bridge the gap between our core AI product and complex, real world client environments.

What You’ll Do

• Deploy & Own: Stand up Airis across client infrastructure - Cloud, On Prem, and Air Gapped sites.
• Own Technical Delivery: Lead site surveys, client acceptance testing, and post-launch evolutions.
• Integrations: Connect different client data sources into structured, AI-ready feeds.
• Solve Field Issues: Act as 2nd line support to debug and fix complex issues on site.
• Feedback Loop: Work directly with Product & R&D to bring field insights back into the core platform.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Infrastructure Skills: Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Networking, Storage, and Grafana (Observability).
• Hands-on Integration: Experience deploying real systems inside complex, high security client environments.
• Constraint Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot with limited logs and zero remote access.
• Client-Facing: Comfortable talking tech with analysts, IT leads, and security officers alike.
• Willingness to Travel: ~15% globally.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Air Gapped environments 
• Worked in the Defense/OSINT domain.
• Background in Data Engineering (ETL, schemas and more).
• Experience building with AI automation / Agents.
