AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company.
What do we offer?:
Internship (curricular practicum) program + Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).
Mission:
You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.
About practical training:
6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2026
Part time: 5h / day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)
Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring
Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student:
The Flight and Integration Test Centre mission is to take Airbus designs from virtual concept to complex reality ensuring they surpass the best worldwide standards of safety, robustness and efficiency for our customers.
To deliver complex certified products, operational solutions, test means and support, simulators and customer training in a safe and sustainable way through the synergy of industry leading technologies and the passion of our people.
The proposal is to study the state of the art and develop a prototype to generate synthetic data for
machine learning training and simulation.
Main objectives will be:
- External aircraft synthetic data generation
- Avionics symbology synthetic data generation
- Integration with Airbus simulation tools
The desired functionalities will be:
- Automatic aircraft/symbology labeling
- Reconstruction 3D mesh terrain
- Adding ground satellite image
- Adding physics-based sky
- Adding geo-typical 3D buildings
- Adding weather
- Adding camera lens
- Adding cockpit displays symbology

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Studying Degree in Engineering
Fluent in English and Spanish (C1), other languages is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Team spirit and great collaboration skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a multicultural environment.
Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Software development skills
- Proficiency in Python, or a similar language with a desire to learn (C/C++ desirable)
- CAD 3D
- 3D simulation
- Computer vision techniques
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine or a similar engine
