Für Airbus Defence and Space in Friedrichshafen/Immenstaad suchen wir einen Network Engineer (d/m/w) für Satellitenbodenstationen. In Ihrer zukünftigen Tätigkeit arbeiten Sie in einem interdisziplinären, technisch versierten Team an der Realisierung von robusten End-zu-End Kommunikationslösungen. Hierbei sind Sie für die Auslegung, Entwicklung und Integration von modernen militärischen satellitengestützten Kommunikationslösungen, bestehend aus transportablen, mobilen und ortsfesten Satellitenbodenstationen, zuständig.

Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

  • Netzwerkdesign und -optimierung: Entwicklung und Implementierung von Netzwerktopologien, die auf leistungsstarken Routing-Protokollen basieren, um optimale Performance und Zuverlässigkeit zu gewährleisten.

  • Automatisierung von Netzwerkprozessen: Einsatz von Skripting und Automatisierungstools, um Netzwerkoperationen zu vereinfachen und manuelle Eingriffe zu minimieren.

  • Troubleshooting und Problembehebung: Analyse und Behebung von Netzwerkproblemen

  • Installation und Inbetriebnahme von Kundenhardware: Vor-Ort Installation und Konfiguration von Kundenhardware nach Vorgabe.

  • Sicherheitsmanagement: Implementierung und Überwachung von Sicherheitsrichtlinien und -verfahren durch die Integration von Sicherheitslösungen, um Netzwerksicherheitsbedrohungen zu minimieren.

  • Dokumentation und Reporting: Erstellung detaillierter Dokumentation und Berichten über Netzwerkkonfiguration, Änderungsmanagement und Leistungsindikatoren.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten:

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Informationstechnologie oder einem verwandten Feld oder eine gleichwertige berufliche Erfahrung.

  • Umfangreiche Erfahrung mit L2- und L3-Netzwerkprotokollen wie Spanning-Tree, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP und BGP.

  • Kenntnisse in Managementprotokollen wie SNMP, NETCONF und RESTful-API/RESTCONF.

  • Kenntnisse in der Netzwerkautomatisierung und im Einsatz von Skriptsprachen (z.B. Python, Ansible).

  • Erfahrung mit Netzwerksicherheitspraktiken und -tools.

  • Zertifizierungen in Cisco CCNA, CCNP oder vergleichbare Zertifizierungen im Netzwerkbereich sind von Vorteil.

  • Fähigkeit zur Problemanalyse und Lösungsfindung.

  • Fließende Deutsch und Englisch Kenntnisse in Wort und Schrift erforderlich

  • Gute Teamfähigkeit
